No amendments to Table R301.2(1) were found in the residential code amendments.

Contacted Wanda Winkelmann, Grand Junction City Clerk, (6/24/2020) who informed us to contact the Mesa County Building Department.

Darrell Bay, Building Official of Mesa County, (whom we contacted on 6/04/2020 about Mesa County's ice barrier requirements) informed us that "As a general rule ice and water is not required in our climate. Sometimes on low pitch reroofs it is needed to use shingles."
